What kind of fabric and dyes are used in these block prints?

Every fabric in this collection is 100% cotton, sold by the yard. The prints are made by hand with carved wooden blocks using azo-free, water-based pigment dyes, so the colours are bold but the cloth stays soft and breathable.

How should I wash and care for hand block print cotton fabric?

First wash cold and separate, as a little excess colour may rinse out on the first wash. After that, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, line dry in the shade, and warm-iron on the reverse to keep the print crisp.

Why does my fabric look slightly different from the photo or from another yard?

Because each yard is hand-stamped block by block, slight variation in print placement, alignment and colour depth between pieces is completely normal and part of the craft. It is a sign of genuine hand block printing, not a fault.

Yes. We offer up to 40% off on wholesale with a minimum order of 5 units, plus CMT and private-label options through our in-house unit in Jaipur. Payment terms are 30% advance with the balance due before dispatch.

From soft blue stripes and lavender-peach florals to a turquoise and pink Mughal-style trellis and a mustard yellow pomegranate botanical, each design is hand-stamped using azo-free, water-based pigment dyes in our own in-house unit in Jaipur, India.

Because every yard is printed by hand with carved wooden blocks, slight variation in placement and colour from piece to piece is part of the character — no two cuts are ever truly identical. The lightweight cotton base is easy to sew, dye-friendly to work with, and pleasant against the skin.
