What does Yashodhara Textiles make?

We are a small textile workshop in Jaipur, India. We make hand block-print 100% cotton — fabric by the yard, boho dresses, cotton kaftans, sarongs and pareos, and bandanas. We work on 100% cotton, including organic and GOTS-certified cotton, printed by hand with carved wooden blocks and azo-free pigment (water-based) dyes, then cut and sewn in our own unit.

Do you sell fabric by the yard?

Yes. Our hand block-print 100% cotton is sold by the yard and cut to continuous lengths — around 6 yards, depending on the design — ready for dressmaking, quilting, curtains and resort wear. (We do not offer fabric swatches at the moment.)

Do you offer wholesale and private-label (CMT) production?

Yes. We work with boutiques, designers and resort brands worldwide. Wholesale gives trade pricing of up to 40% off with a low minimum of just 5 units, and we offer cut-make-trim (CMT) and private-label production from our Jaipur unit. Where do you ship, and in what currency?

We ship worldwide from Jaipur with tracked delivery, and most orders to the US, UK and UAE arrive within about 5 to 10 business days by express. Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout, so there are no surprises at the end.

How do I care for hand block-print cotton?

Hand wash separately in cold water for the first wash, as a little excess colour may rinse out, then machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Line dry in shade and warm-iron on the reverse. A slight softening of colour over time is normal for hand-printed cotton.

Will every piece look exactly like the photo?

Because each piece is stamped by hand, one block at a time, small variations in print placement and colour are part of the craft — no two lengths are identical. If you need an exact colour match for a project, message us before ordering.
