100% cotton, hand block-printed with azo-free, water-based pigment dyes. Organic and GOTS-certified cotton is available on request.

What can I make with it?

Do I need to pre-wash it?

Yes — wash cold and separately before cutting, as natural cotton may shrink slightly and a little excess colour can rinse out on the first wash.

Can I order custom colours or large quantities?

Yes — we print to order with custom colours at no extra charge, and offer wholesale and CMT. Share your requirements and we’ll make it to order.

How quickly does it ship?

Description

A trailing lotus pattern in cornflower blue and mustard gold winds across an ivory ground, outlined in raspberry pink vines that loop into soft medallions. We print this in our small workshop using carved wooden blocks and azo-free pigment dyes, so you'll spot the slight registration shifts that tell you a human hand pressed each repeat. The cotton is light to mid-weight with a soft, breathable drape — it gathers nicely for a tiered skirt and sits flat enough for quilt blocks or curtain panels. Width is 44 inches and it's sold by the yard, cut continuous from the bolt. A good pick if you're sewing a spring sundress, a boxy summer top, or a set of pillow covers for a sunroom.
