100% cotton, hand block-printed with azo-free, water-based pigment dyes. Organic and GOTS-certified cotton is available on request.

What can I make with it?

Dressmaking, quilting, curtains, cushions, table linens and other home projects.

Do I need to pre-wash it?

Yes — wash cold and separately before cutting, as natural cotton may shrink slightly and a little excess colour can rinse out on the first wash.

Can I order custom colours or large quantities?

Yes — we print to order with custom colours at no extra charge, and offer wholesale and CMT. Share your requirements and we’ll make it to order.

How quickly does it ship?

This is made to order — production begins once your order is placed, then it’s dispatched from our Jaipur studio within 5–7 working days. Tracked worldwide delivery; most US, UK and UAE orders arrive in about 5–10 days.

Description

A deep aubergine purple ground carries trailing vines, soft cream leaves and coral lotus blooms across this lightweight cotton — block-printed by hand in our small workshop using azo-free pigment dyes. The repeat is dense and slightly irregular where the wooden blocks meet, which is the tell-tale fingerprint of hand printing. The cloth is 44 inches wide, soft to the touch with a gentle drape that's easy to gather or pleat. We see it as a swishy A-line summer dress, lined curtain panels for a sunny window, or quilt backing that brings real personality to a patchwork top.
