Description
A deep berry-pink ground carries an all-over lotus-and-vine block print in indigo blue and warm mustard, with cream outlines that give the motif its kalamkari-style softness. The cotton is light to mid-weight at 44 inches wide — fluid enough to gather into a skirt, structured enough to hold a tunic shape. Look closely and you'll see the small register shifts where each wooden block met the cloth: the lotus heads sit inside curling tendrils, and tiny buds fill the gaps between blooms. We print this in small runs in our workshop using azo-free pigment dyes, then wash and finish each length in-house. It's the kind of yardage US, UK and UAE sewists reach for when they want jewel tones without going heavy.
