Craft & Fabric
Our Craft & Fabric collection brings you 100% cotton yardage hand block printed in our own Jaipur studio. Each length is stamped by hand using carved wooden blocks and azo-free, water-based pigment dyes, so you get the soft hand-feel of pure cotton with prints that carry the quiet character of slow, hand-finished work.
The current line-up spans soft blue stripes, a lavender and peach floral, a turquoise and pink Mughal-style arched trellis floral, and a mustard yellow pomegranate botanical. Sold by the yard, the fabrics are well suited to dressmaking, quilting, curtains, cushions, table linens and other home sewing projects.
Small, natural shifts in print placement and colour from one yard to the next are part of the block-printed craft and a sign the cloth was made by hand, not by machine.

Frequently asked questions
- Every fabric in this category is 100% cotton, sold by the yard. We use cotton because it takes hand block printing beautifully and is comfortable to sew, wear and live with. No blends, silks or linens are included in this collection.
- Each design is hand printed using carved wooden blocks in our own in-house unit in Jaipur, India. We print with azo-free, water-based pigment dyes, which give clear colour on cotton while keeping the cloth soft. Slight variation in print placement and colour between yards is normal and part of the hand-printed craft.
- For the first wash, wash cold and separately, as a little excess colour may rinse out. After that, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, line dry in the shade, and warm-iron on the reverse of the fabric to keep the print looking its best.
- Yes. We offer up to 40% off on wholesale with a minimum order of 5 units, plus CMT and private-label services from our Jaipur unit. Payment terms are 30% advance with the balance due before dispatch.
